Dornoch is a small town on the edge of the Dornoch Firth in an area of Scotland steeped in history - there has been some form of human habitation here for over 4,000 years. Although probably best known for the famous Royal Dornoch natural lincs golf course, Dornoch is also a wonderland for birdwatching, fishing, and hunting. In season you can stalk deer and grouse whilst fly fishing enthusiasts will find abundant trout, and the challenge of hill loch fishing.
