The Cottage

Upon entering this delightful cottage from the high street there are 4 large golf type lockers for any outdoor gear you may have, whether it's a bag of golf clubs or simply a pair of walking boots for the shoe locker. From here you climb the wide curved staircase, with its big picture window, to the first floor and another spacious hallway.

Upstairs the property consists of two bedrooms, living/dining room, kitchen and bathroom.

The wide stairs up from the hallway take you past a picture window. The furnishings and fittings perfectly blend the traditional with the modern whilst a splash of tartan reminds you that you're in Scotland.

The two bedrooms both have 6ft 'zip and link' beds that that offer the choice of double or twin. The large master bedroom has an en-suite 'wet room' with shower and WC whilst bedroom 2 is just across the hall from another 'wet room' with shower and WC. Both bedrooms have plenty of wardrobe and drawer space and are equipped with thick duvets, springy pillows and soft fluffy towels. As well as this both bedrooms have TVs with built in DVD players and radio alarm clocks with built in iPod docks - this is a traditional holiday cottage brought in to the modern era.

Bedroom One

The master bedroom enjoys lots of natural light from a large double-glazed window and has an en-suite wet room with shower and WC. There is ample wardrobe space, a TV with built in DVD player, and a clock radio with built in iPod dock.

Bedroom Two

Like the master bedroom the second bedroom also enjoys lots of natural light from a large double-glazed window. Whilst there isn't an en-suite there is a wet room with shower and WC just across the hallway. The second bedroom also benefits from it's own TV with built in DVD player and a radio alarm clock with built in iPod dock.

Washrooms

Both bathrooms at Auld Brig have been converted in to wet rooms, doing away with the need for shower curtains or shower tray. The smart contemporary design is a welcoming sight in the morning and the powerful showers do wonders for tired muscles at the end of the day. The newly fitted kitchen is kitted out with everything you could need during your stay in Dornoch. From dishwasher and washer dryer to a split level cooker, pots, pans, new china, and cutlery. There's even space for a breakfast bar and stools, just perfect for that morning cup of tea or coffee.

Lounge

The living room has been completely revamped recently and a large flat screen TV sits on the wall above a modern wall mounted electric fire. Relax on the comfy sofas and watch your favourite program or DVD or listen to your music on the iPod dock. The dining table & chairs sit between two large double glazed windows, one looking to the East and one to the West. It’s a very pleasant room to spend time in.

Kitchen

The new kitchen has all the mod cons one could need, from dishwasher and washer/dryer and the breakfast bar is a great place to enjoy a morning cup of coffee and plan your day.

Parking

There is a plentiful supply of parking outside the cottage.
